The Civilization was collapsing. The walls crumbling. Chaos reigned and all bonds were forsaken. The Oath Keepers tried to retain order and peace but could not contend with the rising sentiment that none of it mattered. The world was ending, what use was order? The world didn't end, but The Civilization had been struck a mortal blow. From its ashes the Bone Brigade sought a new path. If you can take it, it should belong to you. If you cannot defend it, what use to you was it in the first place? Some stood in their way and were either eliminated or assimilated. Chaos was everywhere and the BB rode it like a tide. This tide eventually came up against something it could not move. The Shield Breakers stood when no other could. For decades these two opposing forces clashed, grew and waged war. An unstoppable force and an unmovable object. An impasse. The Oath Keepers proposed a new solution, one that would satisfy the ancient oaths while allowing harmony for the people who didn't join into the clans. A battlefield, controlled, sacred and unique. Where the clans could come to do battle as they had always done, without losing all they had built. Now, centuries later, the tradition continues though no one except the ancient Oath Keepers truly know the significance. An Arena for Battle, a spectacle for buddies.
There will be a total of 500 Battle Buddies minted. This does not include weapons or upgrades.
Each season will release a new class of Battle Buddies. During which there will be 50 Buddies released all of the same class. For the initial release of Battle Buddies, season 1 will be a warrior class.
Give your Battle Buddies a chance at glory in the arena and earn passive income! To compete in the arena you will need a party of 3 Battle Buddies (One from each class). The arena will open up after season 3. See below for more info.
Long ago there was an event called The Great Collapse. It was so long ago that none can remember what actually happened, except that the world was almost destroyed had it not been for the Final Stand.
Each Battle Buddy belongs to one of the 3 clans. Your arena party can be made up of Battle Buddies from any clan, however if all of your members are from the same clan, you will receive added bonuses. You can tell what clan your Battle Buddy belongs to from an accent color on their clothing that matches their clan colors. Shield Breakers, Bone Brigade, or Oath Keepers.
In a time of turmoil and chaos, when the very foundations of civilization were disintegrating, there emerged a balancing force of order and peace. The Shield Breakers date their origins to the Great Collapse, the last standing unit of the once great Continental Military Force. Often at odds with the BB and their roving, raiding ways, the SB represent stability and militarism in a time without much structure.
According to records kept by the most ancient of Oath Keepers, the Bone Brigade formed during the Great Collapse of the Eastern Continent. Ex-nobles and mercenary leaders banded together to forsake all but the most basic of political structure. The strong survive and the weak perish. Whoa to the vanquished!
Known by different names in different lands. The Oath Keepers, the Lore Masters, The Righteous Children, this order of religious scholars and zealots trace their lineages back to before The Departure. Often the middle men and adjudicators of the realm, this clan holds the records and histories of the Realm. The only order to remember the ancient oaths, they facilitate the sacrifices and rituals necessary to stave off certain destruction.
Each season will bring a new class to Battle Buddies. Each class falls into a specific role. Tank, Damage, or Healer. Some classes are able to switch roles for whatever the party needs. To compete in the Arena you will need a party of 3, one member in each role. Scroll down to the Arena section to learn more!
The Warrior is a fierce, battle hardened fighter.

Trained in the high arcane arts, the Mage is smart and calculated. Using their ability to sling spells during battle.
As a disciple of the clergy, the Priest is trained to heal their wounded allies from the brink of death.
The rarity system first and foremost is a color system. The aura of the pedestal is color coordinated to match the Battle Buddie, item, or weapon rarity. All Common Battle Buddies have the same pose and start with a common weapon. As the rarity increases the weapons and poses will change.
What is a Battle Buddy without their best weapon? Weapons also have a rarity system to it. Each Battle Buddie starts with a weapon equal to their rarity. However you can buy different weapons to equip. So for example, your Rare Battle Buddy can wield a Legendary weapon. Some weapons even provide unique bonuses that will benefit your entire party.
To use the quartermaster you must have a Battle Buddy NFT and a Weapon NFT. Send the BB and the weapon to our Proton burn wallet @battleburn, and we will mint and send you a new NFT of your BB with their new weapon! The previous weapon that was equipped will be destroyed.
Each week there will be a randomly generated bracket of teams that teams that have entered in our Discord. There will be a live stream of the virtual dice rolls to determine the winners of each round. All the rolls are recorded into a spreadsheet that determines the winner. The winner will then be awarded a prize ranging from weapons to Battle Buddies, and more!
To compete in the arena you'll need to have 3 Battle Buddies, one in each role. Tank, Damage, and Healer. This is why the arena will not open until the start of season 3, when the first healer class will become available. Arena parties can be completely unique, meaning 3 different classes, or they can have Battle Buddies of the same class, as long as you have a one in each role. For example the Warrior can either be a Tank or Damage, so you could have 2 Warriors in your party, one as a Tank and one as Damage.
